Wartime Mail

Using the WWII letter documents of Leddy Library, the exhibit expands on the themes within Wartime Mail. The importance of correspondence throughout the war is emphasized in the following themes as a vehicle to keep the Allied forces connected and to heighten their morale. From censorship to V-Mail to the do's and don't's of WWII letter writing, this exhibit provides a comprehensive understanding of what WWII letter writing to and from home entailled.
