Title
"Discipuli Totagi"
Description
This 1914 picture by Bill Kolb, printed in 1927, shows the discipuli totagi at 12:30AM. It seems they were breaking rules for the accompanying article describes them as evading those in charge of discipline. The article demonstrates the attention given to alumni in "Purple and White", as the following quote shows.
"They were by no means unwilling to break a rule but, when they did, they were clever enough to get clear of
those in charge of discipline,—even though Tom (Rev.) Currier, Harry (Rev.) Chisholm, and Alex O’Neil were hard to beat. They can all be accounted for either in
Church or State and if subsequent members
of the old flat prove as successful, Assumption
will ever continue to have no cause to regret her system of educational training, that makes the mischievous and unthinking boys of today the responsible and
sensible men of tomorrow."
