Welcome

Welcome to the home of the WeDigHistory Assumption Park Geophysics and History project!   "Digging and Imag(in)ng Windsor-Essex History: 150 Years and Beyond"  was funded by the Windsor-Essex Community Foundation through the Community Fund for Canada's 150th, with additional financial support from the University of Windsor.  Drs Maria Cioppa (Earth and Environmental Sciences) and Guillaume Teasdale (History) are the co-directors.

The project has expanded beyond its initial parameters and association with Canada's 150th.  Smaller geophysical mapping projects have been carried out in cooperation with the Town of Essex and Whitestone Lake.  Funding was obtained for a new GPR, and several additional grants have been applied for.
