History

The goal of this project was to 'dig' through local history - so we needed to look at the historical information available to place the results of the community scan-a-thon and the geophysical surveys into context.  These ranged from the records of the Jesuit Mission and Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Parish, through the history of Sandwich to hints of the wine-making history of the region to the construction of the Ambassador Bridge.  Take a walk through history with us!
