Judging by its extensive coverage in countless issues of "The Purple and White", The Arts Ball was a very big deal around campus. There would be an orchestra, dancing, and " a good stiff coke", for the steep price of $6 per couple. It is interesting to note that the dance, though an Assumption College event, was held at the Sheraton-Cadillac in Detroit. This suggests a very fluid boarder relationship between Windsor and Detroit.
